Good UV protection for carefree play

A large lawn with plenty of space to play - a paradise for children. However, due to its location in the middle of a residential area, there are unfortunately no trees to provide shade at the Riedenburg kindergarten in Salzburg. To provide the children with a protected play area outside, two free-standing double awnings were installed. The awnings now cover the climbing frames and slides so that nothing stands in the way of the children's exuberant play.

Flexible sun shading without a concrete foundation

The small outdoor area of the kindergarten in Langenbrettach was equipped with a markilux syncra in combination with a markilux folding-arm awning. It does not need to be mounted on the wall of the building as it is fixed to the ground. This means that the awning fits perfectly into the existing space and structural conditions. Thanks to the sun protection, the play area in the fresh air is now optimally shaded.

Shading the sandpit

The large outdoor area of the kindergarten in Eschwege is a dream for playing, romping and running. A free-standing solution with folding-arm awnings on both sides was chosen to provide the best possible protection for the children building sandcastles. This ensures that the area is optimally shaded. Thanks to the stabilization boxes, the markilux syncra does not require a concrete foundation. The boxes also serve as a seating area.

The Vitis kindergarten in Austria was also equipped with markilux sun shading systems.
