Pleasant atmosphere with new awning cover patterns in colourful pop-art style

In recent years, colour seems to have disappeared from the world of interior design: neutral, non-colour shades have been dominating the various styles and trends. With the fresh fabric patterns of its new Pop-Art Edition, awning manufacturer markilux is now introducing a contrasting trend and bringing a little zest into the outdoor season.

They glow in warm, sunny yellow, vibrant red and intense pink, and give balconies and patios a refreshing boost of energy. We are talking about ten modern, vibrant “visutex patterns” from markilux. They form the new Pop-Art Edition of the awning specialist’s cover fabric collection. The trendy colours in the style of Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein add a touch of liveliness to al fresco living and their vividness ensures a pleasant outdoor atmosphere.

Getting more colour into life

The patterns, in the brilliantly luminous fabric quality “sunsilk”, come in a variety of looks from finely lined through a suggestion of colour gradations to modern interpretations of the block stripe. The patterns are inspired by the pop art of the 1950s and 1960s, and are part of the “collection one” cover fabric collection which has been on the market for a year now. It combines an easily-cared-for high-tech fabric with a stylish mix of classic, modern and exclusive design features. In future, current trends from the worlds of furnishing and fashion as well as art are to enrich and enliven the collection. This means the fabrics in the collection will be changed on a regular basis and feature new creations.
