They are efficient, energy-saving and provide a warm atmosphere at the touch of a button.

Spending as much free time as possible on the patio or balcony is in demand from spring to autumn. Depending on the time of year, infrared heaters are particularly welcome in the evenings when it gets cooler outside. In addition to the device that can be mounted on the house or awning, we also offer a mobile floor-standing device for this purpose. Both radiant heaters can be combined with each other, allowing the space under an awning to be heated even more individually.

The simply designed infrared radiant heater is made of high-quality powder-coated aluminium. It is just under one metre high and 35 centimetres wide and deep. The floor-standing appliance should be placed on a level surface. If it tips over, it switches itself off automatically. This is ensured by a position sensor. Thanks to a soft start function, the infrared heater heats up in a matter of seconds with a low start-up current and thus, according to markilux, saves energy.

Your markilux infrared radiant heater for awnings can be operated conveniently and comfortably using a switch or remote control. It's not just the warmth of the radiant heater that makes you feel cosy, but also the ease of switching it on and off. With the remote control, you can simply sit on the patio and switch on the heat.

With the free-standing infrared heater, a timer allows the infrared heater to switch off automatically. The timer function allows the radiant heater to switch off automatically after 30, 60 or 90 minutes. To do this, the timer must be programmed via the on/off switch of the radiant heater. Depending on the desired heating duration, one to four signal tones sound as acoustic feedback when the timer is set. In addition, the infrared heater can be switched on for 5 minutes in the "Short-term heating" function by double-clicking the device button and then switched off again automatically.
