LED-Line
The markilux LED-Line awning lighting provides an atmospheric, warm light after sunset. The narrow, durable and energy-efficient LED strips are integrated flush into the cassette of your awning or, in the case of the markilux MX-1 compact, for example, placed on the front profile. Underglass awnings for patio roofs and pergola awnings can be fitted with LED-Line lighting on the side guide tracks.
LED-Spots
Swivelling and dimmable LED-Spots create the most beautiful evening atmosphere on your patio.
Small LED-Spots in the front profile of cassette awnings offer you a discreet way of illuminating your awning. This spot lighting allows you to direct the lighting in a targeted manner.
LED-Line folding arms
A highlight for many beautiful moments. The dimmable LED-Line sets the scene for your patio when the sun has long since set.
Elegant LED strips are placed directly in the folding-arm awnings markilux 1300 / 1600 / 1700 / 1710 to create atmospheric lighting.
We recommend this lighting solution if you want to illuminate the area under your folding-arm awning over a large area and directly from above. When the awning is retracted, the LED strips are well protected in the cassette together with the folding-arms and the awning fabric.
LED ambient lighting
The LED ambient lighting that we can realise for your very own markilux MX-1 compact is a truly impressive eye-catcher in the evening hours. The illuminated front profile gives you the freedom to create your own individual lighting mood.
LED Spotline
If you prefer universal awning lighting or it is not possible to attach other lights to your chosen awning, we recommend the markilux LED-spotline. This LED strip is attached to the house wall, for example under the cover cassette, and can therefore be combined with numerous markilux awning models.
The elegant, freely mountable light strip is equipped with swivelling and dimmable LED-Spots. Available in two lengths: 180 cm with 3 spots and 300 cm with 5 spots.

In addition to the option of integrating coloured lighting, the MX-4 and pergola style in particular blend in perfectly with garden lighting. Various lighting options ensure the right illumination for your patio. In addition to our classic lighting options for awnings or pergola awnings, these two models have special LED lighting. For the folding-arm awning markilux MX-4, spotlights are available in the side caps of the cassette and, as a special highlight, outdoor lights in the awning shape and design of the markilux MX-4. The markilux pergola style pergola awning creates individual lighting effects with uplights or LED-Lines in the footplate covers and LED-Lines in the posts and guide tracks.
Operating the lighting options
Controlling the lighting elements is very simple. In addition to the remote control, you also have the option of controlling the light via an app. Integration into the smart home offers the advantage of being able to configure individual colour moods.

Can markilux awnings be fitted with light?
There are many different lighting options for awnings. The majority of markilux awnings can be fitted with LED light in various shapes (e.g. LED-Lines, -spots) on request. For models for which no integrated lighting can be configured, we have an alternative in the form of the LED spotlight. The LED strip can be fixed under the awning or on the house wall.
What lighting options are available?
Different lighting options are available for the various awning models. The range of lighting options includes LED spots and lines at various positions, ambient lighting or the external LED-Spot. You can find model-specific information on the respective product detail pages of the markilux awnings.
Is coloured lighting available for awnings?
Yes, markilux also offers coloured lighting (RGB-WW) for awnings. This allows you to illuminate your patio in different colours and customise the lighting mood. The LEDs can be conveniently controlled by remote control or smart home system and offer a wide range of colours - from atmospheric warm white to vibrant shades. Your markilux specialist dealer will be happy to advise you on the available models and control options.
What are the advantages of lighting integrated into the awning?
Integrated lighting provides atmospheric light in the evening, saves space and is perfectly matched to the awning.
