The markilux pergola style offers innovative lighting options. In addition to LED-Lines in support posts and guide tracks, the base covers of the pergola posts can also be fitted with light. With the base covers, you have the choice between upward-emitting light, the LED uplights, and a surrounding LED-Line in the base. You can choose whether your garden lighting should be colorful or simply warm white.

If you would like to create a beautiful lighting mood under your patio roof, you have the option of integrating LED-Lines into the cassette or the guide tracks of the markilux 679 under-glass awning. Depending on the mood, you can create a warm white or colorful glowing environment.

"ZigBee" is a smart home wireless standard. It allows devices that support this standard to communicate in a network over a short distance. The radio protocol is suitable for exchanging small amounts of data and is ideal for controlling lighting technology. Once the lights are registered in the home automation system, they join and manage the network independently. "ZigBee" requires very little energy, is easy to install and can be conveniently operated via an app.

A "Bridge" like the one from "Philips Hue" or from other manufacturers is also called a "hub" or "gateway". With it, the devices in the "ZigBee network" can communicate. Since the radio protocol is not Internet-based, the lights can only be addressed via the "Bridge". It is the radio control center of the lighting system. It must be connected to the Internet via a router for configuration, updates and to be controlled via app with the smartphone or tablet. Switching on and off, dimming and changing the color of the lights does not require the Internet, as this is done in the "ZigBee network".

"Philips Hue" is a smart lighting system. The "Hue Bridge" connects the smart lights from Philips and other manufacturers in a network. The system can be automated, creates a beautiful atmosphere and can be conveniently operated via app.

The "Philips Hue GU10 smart Spots" are available for the recessed spotlights in the side caps of the awning housing and for the separate wall light, which radiates either upwards or downwards in this scenario. Double-sided radiating light sources are not possible due to the installation height of the "Philips Hue GU10 smart Spots" for the wall light. If you prefer light sources radiating on both sides, which radiate both upwards and downwards, the markilux recessed spotlights can be used. However, these cannot be controlled individually. In this case, the same colour is selected for all existing wall lights. With the Philips Hue recessed spotlights, you are more flexible and can define individual colours for each wall light.

MX-4 wall lamp has a width of 300 mm, height 145 mm and depth 150 mm.

The number of spots in the front profile depends on the size of the awning. A maximum of four spots is possible. Ask a markilux specialist partner for advice on the optimum awning size for your terrace. This will also determine the possible number of LED-Spots in the front profile.
