On-glass awning markilux 870

The markilux 870 is an on-glass awning for installation on a patio roof or conservatory. It is particularly suitable for small to medium-sized areas due to its maximum dimensions.

The two on-glass awnings markilux 770 and markilux 870 differ in the design of the full cassette. The cassette of the markilux 770 is square, while that of the markilux 870 is round. This allows you to choose exactly the model that suits your home.

You can conveniently control the markilux 870 on-glaze awning using a (radio) motor: with remote control, via app or using sensors that automatically react to the respective weather conditions.

In a conservatory or under a patio roof, it can quickly get warm in the summer without sun protection. In order to reduce the heating of the interior, we recommend top glass awnings. These keep the sun's rays from penetrating directly through the glass into the space under the roof. This prevents excessive heat buildup. In addition, on-glazed awnings such as the markilux 870 offer good glare and sun protection. Alternatively, depending on the structural conditions, an under-glass awning can also be considered.

The markilux 870 can shade a maximum area of 18 square meters. The maximum dimensions (width x draw) are 450 x 400 cm.

You can use the markilux 870 on-glass awning up to a wind strength of 6 (38-48 km/h). This corresponds to wind resistance class 3.

tracfix is one of many markilux refinements: it is a lateral cover guidance zip technology without gap between guide track and awning cover. This creates a more beautiful overall appearance and improves wind stability.

With markilux specials, collection one offers fabrics for special applications - including for on-roof awnings. We recommend fabric patterns from the vuscreen ALU, transolair and perfotex ranges. vuscreen ALU is characterized by the presence of aluminium particles on the high-tech fabric. This reflects the sun's rays particularly effectively and reduces heat build-up. The light transparency of the fabric cover also allows sufficient daylight to penetrate. Alternatively, we recommend the fabrics transolair and perfotex, which ensure that accumulated heat is reduced. transolair is sunvas fabric with special perforation technology. perfotex consists of sunsilk fabric with woven-in reed gaps. This makes the fabric covers of the specials perfotex and transolair particularly permeable to air and light.
