Sun shading for the gastronomy & hotel industry

The restaurant's large roof terrace was equipped with a weatherproof solution. Protection from the sun, rain and wind means the terrace can be used all year round, making it easier to plan outdoor dining.

The 160 square meter restaurant terrace was equipped with the weatherproof markilux pergola stretch awning system. The rainproof fabric and the side elements allow flexible use of the outdoor area.

In the heart of Sankt Peter-Ording is the "Wirtshaus Dorf 8", a restaurant with cosy, rustic charm and a spacious outdoor terrace. The owner invested in an awning system from markilux to make the terrace weatherproof. Since then, guests can enjoy the outdoor seating in any weather, protected from the sun and rain.

The Villa Tapas restaurant is bright and inviting thanks to its generous glass surfaces. Vertical and glass roof awnings were installed to keep the interior at a pleasant temperature even when the sun is shining. These prevent the room from heating up and also provide effective glare protection. Transparent awning covers provide sufficient light.

The Brokenwood winery in Australia has been equipped with an awning system that covers a total of around 180 square meters of outdoor space. The outdoor area is now independent of the weather and can be used all day thanks to LED light and infrared heaters.

Thanks to the installation of an integrated sun and weather protection system, outdoor dining is possible all year round. The combination with additional equipment such as lighting and radiant heaters ensures a high level of comfort and a cozy atmosphere.

The awning system covers a good 50 seats, creating more space for vacation guests. The pergola protects against UV radiation and rain and also blends in visually with the traditional Tyrolean architecture.

The outdoor area of the Austrian four-star superior Hotel Löwen has been equipped with the "pergola stretch" and "markilux markant" models. The new awning systems cover the 100 or so seats on the outdoor terrace and protect the catering area from the sun and rain.

The outdoor catering area at Boutiquehotel Aichinger was covered with a generous markilux awning system consisting of a combination of different models. A special highlight: the existing trees were integrated into the planning so that they could be preserved.
