The colour combinations of a designer awning - consisting of frame colour, awning cover and screen colour - have a major influence on the visual appearance and effect. This colour triad is in harmony with the clean lines and functional design. With the eight new screen colours for four selected awning models, markilux is systematising the configuration of these awnings. From classic-chic to fashionable-elegant, there are a wide range of options for customising the awning of your dreams.

By choosing one of the eight front panel colours with one of the seven frame colours and one of over 200 cover patterns, you can create your very own personal colour combination.
The markilux front panel colours turn each of our four top profile models(markilux MX-1 compact, markilux MX-3, markilux MX-4 and markilux 970) into individual dream awnings and make a clear design statement. markilux frame colours are also available as front panel colours.

Atmospheric shines a markilux designer awning. With the new markilux MX-4 it now becomes even more spectacular and flexible. This makes it possible to stage a completely individual lighting ambience, depending on the occasion and mood. All colors can be controlled easily and continuously - also with the app solutions of e.g. Philips Hue or Somfy TaHoma - and present the outdoor area sometimes in a colorful, sometimes warm or a very cool lighting mood.

Controlling the lighting elements is very simple. In addition to the remote control, you also have the option of controlling the light via an app. Integration into the smart home offers the advantage of being able to configure individual colour moods.

In which colours is the markilux MX-4 available?
The markilux MX-4 is available in our seven standard colours. Special RAL colours can be ordered for an additional charge. It is also possible to combine the seven standard colours in the front panels with any frame colour.
What lighting options are available for the markilux MX-4?
The markilux MX-4 is all about light. You can choose an LED-Line in the cassette, spots in the front profile or in the side caps of the cassette. The light sources can be used to create both warm white and bright colours to perfectly match the lighting to your mood and needs. This means you can choose the right lighting scenario to suit the occasion and mood. The new markilux MX-4 wall lights are another highlight. Matched to the design language of the awning, they blend perfectly into the overall picture.
What alignment options are available for the LED-Spots in the side cap?
For the side cap, it is possible to integrate LED-Spots that either shine downwards or upwards or in one of the two directions.
What spot positions are available for the markilux MX-4 wall lights?
As with the side cap, the LED-Spots can shine either upwards, downwards or both upwards and downwards. If you choose the Philips Hue option, you have to decide whether the light should be directed upwards or downwards.
Can the lighting be controlled smartly?
You can choose between control via the markilux remote control, the Somfy tahoma Switch smart home system or Philips Hue. However, control via the Philips Hue app is only possible if you select Philips Hue as the light source. Otherwise, this option is not available.
Do I need special light sources from Philips or Somfy?
The LED-Spots in the side caps and in the front profile as well as in the markilux MX-4 wall lights are high-quality light sources that were developed with markilux. Commercially available Philips Hue light sources are optionally used in the side caps and in the MX-4 light.
Can I choose a different colour for my markilux MX-4 wall lights than for my awning?
Yes, the wall lights can be ordered in any colour, regardless of the awning.
What mounting options are available for the markilux MX-4?
The markilux MX-4 is fixed to the face. The result is an almost invisible, flush wall connection to the building. Roof or top fixture is not intended for this model.
